GSC just rolled out AI search visibility data worldwide yesterday (Aug 31, 2026). Google Search Console's Generative AI report and Bing's AI Performance report both went live in 2026, offering site owners their AI Overview on Google search and Bing, Copilot, Microsoft partner visibility. However the chatgpt AI visibility is yet unknown until you do the searches manually to check if your site is listed.
Now you can find “Generative AI" report in Search Console, under Performance / Search results. GSC announced this feature in June 2026 and rolled out globally as of August 31, 2026. Googles official announcement on worldwide rollout.

Currently GSC provided Impressions only (no clicks) for AI search visibility with pages, countries and devices. You can also opt out of this feature which no one wants to do, but in case if you don’t want to be indexed for AI you have to opt out for the entire property not specific sections or URL’s.

Above is the screenshot of GSC AI performance for recycleinme.com one of our b2b ventures. The AI search data is for 3 months (5/30/26–8/26/26), with a total impression of 473K, approximate daily impressions about 2.5K–7.5K with weekend searches one third of week days. The data is based on Google AI search results but for some strange reason they are not providing Query info or Click info which makes the numbers insignificant in planning a digital marketing strategy.
Bing Webmaster Tools AI data
Let us analyze how the portal is performing on AI results for Bing and Microsoft associates (We don’t know for sure who they are). Chatgpt is heavily funded by Microsoft but this data excludes chatgpt results.

It is too early to analyze the AI data from both tools to come with an actionable plan as of now and we hope they will be more transparent providing data which really matters. However if your site is not even appearing on these results you may have to audit it for AI SEO performance. Also try searching manually on chatgpt, claude etc. to know how you are performing on their results.
