Google Hikes Love for Maths with Graph Feature on Search Page

Programmed to feed the aspirations of Math lovers around the world, Google has launched a new feature that lets users chart out Math function in a graph right on the search result page. Users need to key in a function and Google displays an interactive graph on the top of the search results page.

The new Graphic Math feature is set to draw users away from Bing, which in an effort to compete with Google partnered Wolfram Alpha the computational knowledge engine way back in 2009, and it gave them the ability to graph math functions.

Google lets users draw multiple functions by separating them with commas across an extensive range of single variable functions including trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic and their compositions. Users can also zoom in and out or pan across the plane to explore the function in more detail and is compatible with most browsers in use.
